HONESDALE – Wayne County commemorates the anniversary of the Terrorist Attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 with a silent tribute at the County Memorial in front of the Dimmick Building on Court Street.

The Honor Guard from the Wayne County Correctional Facility will stand watch at the memorial from 9 am until 9:46 am.

The County Commissioners urge all residents to take visit the memorial or take some time during the day to remember this solemn event.
