Honesdale, PA - The Board of The John and Helen Villaume Foundation announced that the Wayne Highlands School District was selected to receive one of the Foundation’s 2019 community grant awards. Gregory Frigoletto, Wayne Highlands School District Superintendent, was on hand to receive a check for $5,000.00 from Villaume Foundation board member, Paul Edwards.

Wayne Highlands School District is located in central and northern Wayne County, covering 435 square miles.

The district has a long history of high achievement with a mission to promote a school and community partnership dedicated to an education culture of excellence that is dynamic and progressive.

The John and Helen Villaume Foundation established by Honesdale natives, John and Helen Villaume, is dedicated to benefit charitable, religious, scientific, literary and educational programs within Wayne County.
