HONESDALE —The 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Festival is coming soon, and the 52nd annual Summer Festival of Events is about to wind up!

The final concert of the season will be a double bill, with Owen Walsh and his group “O&Co.” sharing the evening with Robert Tellefsen. The fun starts Monday evening, July 29, at 7:30 PM in Honesdale’s Central Park. The Summer Festival of Events is presented by the Wayne County Arts Council (WCCAC).

Owen Walsh, a recent graduate of Ithaca College, has been performing in Pennsylvania and New York for the past 7 years.

A versatile and accomplished musician, both as a solo performer and bandleader, he feels most at home in the world of folk, rock, and the blues. Owen has just released an EP called “Change,” now available on Apple Music, Amazon, and other online outlets.  His music can be heard on Instagram (@music_by_walsh) or on SoundCloud (m.soundcloud.com/user-598199740).

Brooklyn-born Robert Tellefsen has shared stages with folk legends like  Bob Dylan and Richie Havens.

Known for his distinctive, Havens-influenced style of singing and guitar playing, Bob takes his audiences back to the 1960’s Greenwich Village folk scene, with some touches from more modern artists such as Dave Matthews.

Bob is also noted for his extended medleys and mashups, combining well-known tunes in fresh and surprising ways. Expect several local musicians to join Robert onstage for a high-energy and inspiring set! More of his music can be found on ReverbNation (www.reverbnation.com/roberttellefsen
