The one and only original, local farmers’ market, aptly called the Wayne County Farmers’ Market, will have their official opening on Memorial Day Saturday, May 25, 2019.

However, you will be able to visit the market THIS SATURDAY, May 18th, when they have a soft opening with vendors old and new.

The freshest in season vegetables, honey, free range eggs, maple syrup, plants to start your own garden or for Memorial Day, handmade soaps, lotions and bath products, delicious cakes, cookies, pies and baked goods, homemade preserves and mustards, fine art paintings and more await you.

If you have been wanting to restock your pantry or just want to bake a rhubarb pie, roast some fresh asparagus or gobble up some other spring veggies, here is where to go. Also, they are pleased to announce the addition of several new vendors who will add exciting new products to the market.

Visit them in the parking lot of Dave’s Super Duper on Willow Avenue (behind the flower tent) in Honesdale. Rain or shine, they will be there waiting for you.

Help keep this wonderful tradition alive while gaining the benefits, nutritional and otherwise, of the freshest local produce and products. You and your family deserve it!
