In recognition of Rural Roads Safety Week, April 14 - 20, Wayne/Pike Farm Bureau set up a display featuring the Slow Moving Vehicle sign (SMV) in the Honesdale National Bank in Honesdale.

The display reminds motorists to be aware that farmers are returning to work in their fields.

Drivers are urged to slow down immediately when they see the SMV sign, which is an orange triangle with a red border attached to farm vehicles and equipment.  By working together, the roadways in the area can be safe for both motorists and farmers.
