HONESDALE - On Saturday, March 7th, bring the kids down to The Cooperage at 1030 Main Street in Honesdale for an interactive workshop that celebrates creativity, Down the Rabbit Hole.
This family event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will be led by Hana Marritz, local artist and author of seven award-winning children’s books about nature.
Down the Rabbit Hole is a celebration of creativity.
Participants will explore and express their intrinsic artistry and brilliance through drumming, dancing, singing, drawing and journeying into their imagination.
The activities will be suitable for toddler aged children up to age 10. Participants are encouraged to bring drums, rattles and instruments.
Down the Rabbit Hole will be led by local artist Hana Marritz.
After retiring as a NYC public school teacher, Hana Marritz moved to Northeastern Pennsylvania and began focusing on her passions: art and energy healing. Hana is well know in the region for her wire sculptures, bright colored collages and mystical watercolors.
She is an active member of the Wayne County Arts Alliance, recently stepping into the position of Program Coordinator.
“It will be fun and empowering,” says Marritz, “[and] it will be a family adventure!"
Bring the kids and experience this workshop for yourself!
Suggested donation is $10 per family. Down the Rabbit Hole is best suited for toddler age children up to age 10, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
