HONESDALE - The following cases were addressed by the Raymond L. Hamill, President Judge, Wayne County:

PRISCILLA L. AVILES, age 24, of Bronx, NY, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 2 months nor more than 12 months for one count of Receiving Stolen Property, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 1st Degree and one count of Unauthorized Use of Automobiles and Other Vehicles, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree.

She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay restitution in the amount of $350, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all treatment recommendations.

The incident occurred between July 8, 2012 and July 9, 2012 in Cherry Ridge Township.

GLENN HALEY, age 21, of Honesdale, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 10 days nor more than 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance, an ungraded Misdemeanor.

He was also ordered to pay all court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $300, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations, and obtain employment.

The incident occurred on September 29, 2014, in Honesdale Borough.

JACOB R. KELLOGG, age 21, of Lake Ariel, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 30 days nor more than 6 months for one count of Driving Under Influence of Alcohol, an ungraded Misdemeanor.

He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $750, participate with drug and alcohol addiction treatment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, perform 50 hours of community service, and obtain employment.

The incident occurred on August 30, 2014 in Salem Township. His BAC was .112%.

JAMES BATTAGLIA, age 36, Waymart, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 48 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of Driving Under Influence of Alcohol, an ungraded Misdemeanor.

He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, participate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and perform 50 hours community service.

The incident occurred on July 5, 2014 in Canaan Township. His BAC was 118%.

JOHN P. BAND, age 59, of Honesdale, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of Driving Under Influence of Alcohol, an ungraded Misdemeanor.

He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, participate in drug and alcohol addiction treatment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and perform 50 hours of community service.

The incident occurred on August 7, 2014 in Honesdale Borough. His BAC was .213%.

BRENT PASKER, age 23, of Lattimer, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 15 days nor more than 6 months for one count of Driving Under Influence of Alcohol, an ungraded Misdemeanor.

He was also order to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $300, participate in drug and alcohol addiction treatment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, perform 50 hours of community service, and obtain employment.

The incident occurred on January 21, 2014 in Berlin Township. His BAC was .114%.
