MILFORD - Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gregory Chelak:

Laura G. Pollock, age 38, of Lake Ariel, was sentenced to 3 months to 23 1⁄2 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $300 for the crime of Retail Theft.

Pollock was caught on August 21, 2014 taking items from a retail store in Westfall Township having a total value of $83.94, without paying for them. This was her third offense.

Ralph Lester Colegrove, age 20, of Cuddebackville, NY, was sentenced to 2 years of probation and fined $250 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property.

On March 29, 2014, Colegrove attempted to sell a flat screen television to a business in Matamoras Borough knowing that the television had been stolen.

Forest Robert Colegrove, age 18, of Cuddebackville, NY, was sentenced to 2 years of probation and fined $250 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property.

On June 3, 2014, Colegrove attempted to sell an I Phone and case to a business in Matamoras Borough knowing that the I Phone and case were stolen.

Christopher Lee Fernandez, age 29, of Milford, was sentenced to 9 months to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for the crime of Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License.

On March 17, 2014, the state police were doing a follow up investigation with Pike County Children & Youth at a residence in Blooming Grove Township.

While the trooper was speaking with Fernandez, the trooper observed Fernandez to be carrying a concealed handgun. Fernandez did not have a license to carry a concealed firearm.

Daniel Acker, age 35, of Norristown, was sentenced to 3 months to 23 1⁄2 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for the crime of Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition.

On July 7, 2014, a chainsaw and mounted goat head were reported missing from a residence in Dingman Township.

A search of local pawnshops turned up a photocopy of Acker’s driver’s license and receipts for the sale/purchase of the chainsaw for $300 and the goat head for $175.

Eric Michael Rogerson, age 54, of Lackawaxen Township was sentenced to 27 months to 6 years in a state correctional facility and fined $600 for the crime of 3 counts of Simple Assault.

On August 3, 2014, at an apartment building in Lackawaxen Township, Rogerson was wielded a shotgun and threatened to kill three tenants of his apartment complex.

Ryan Lee Rosenberger, age 22, of Hawley, was sentenced to 6 months of probation and fined $100 for the crime of Simple Assault.

On July 11, 2014, Rosenberger engaged in a fight with his brothers Russell and Randall at their home in Palmyra Township. Randall and Russell were sentenced previously to 6 months of probation for the crime of Simple Assault. Randall received a $100 fine and Russell a $250 fine.

Lawrence Robert Brodhead, age 55, of Lords Valley, was sentenced to 6 months to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for the crimes of Unlawful Restraint and Simple Assault.

On January 13, 2014, Brodhead approached 3 individuals in a vehicle along the power line right-of-way in Blooming Grove Township who he thought were responsible for harassing him.

Brodhead pointed a firearm at the individuals, ordered them out of their vehicle and to walk down the right-of-way towards public safety, threatening to kill them and kicking one individual in the backside.

Daniel Leonard Valenza, age 28, of Greentown, was sentenced to 48 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

On April 5, 2014, the state police stopped Valenza for driving his car erratically along Greetown Road in Palmyra Township.

When questioned, Valenza reported that he was coming from a bar where he had a couple of drinks. Valenza failed all three field sobriety tests. A breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .10%.
