HONESDALE - A 22-year-old Clinton Township woman will spend between six months to 23 1/2 months in jail for having sex with a 15-year-old boy.
Katlyn K. Dolph was sentenced on a single felony county of statutory sexual assault. The sentence was imposed by Wayne County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Raymond Hamill.
Dolph had previously pleaded guilt to the charge.
According to court documents, Dolph had sex with the boy about 20 times from Jan. 1 to May 31, 2014, at her house on Stanton Drive and at an unknown location in Waymart.
The defendant confessed to the relationship in June 2014 while questioned by state police at the barracks in Cherry Ridge Township.
Dolph also was ordered to have no contact with the victim and no unsupervised contact with any child under 18 unless approved by a probation officer. The defendant also must undergo a sex offender evaluation while incarcerated.
Upon release she must advise her probation officer if she has a computer or having access to a computer and if it has Internet service.
She will not be allowed to access pornographic sites or materials via the Internet or to engage in relationships or conversations with minors.
Dolph also must provide her probation officer unlimited access to any computer or other wireless/electronic device and allow the officer to search all programs and records maintained on the devices.
Additionally, Dolph may not enter adult bookstores, massage parlors, exotic dance establishments or any establishment whose primary function is the sale, rental, or display of any sexual explicit materials.
She also must submit a DNA sample, which is required off all defendants sentenced on felony charges.
