Wayne Memorial Hospital must postpone all flu clinics at area senior centers until further notice, due to a vaccine shortage.  “We were expecting to secure enough doses for our clinics by today, but our supply has not come in,” said Diane Popovich, RN, manager Wayne Memorial Home Health and Hospice. “We are truly sorry and will keep everyone posted as soon as we are able to deliver this very important vaccine to our elderly population.”

Wayne Memorial operates the flu clinics in conjunction with the Wayne County and Pike County Area Agencies on Aging. The first clinic was set for today.
