William F. Rollison, 54, of Prompton, PA, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, after an illness.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, the former Dianne L. Bryant.

Born on September 10, 1957 in Irvington, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard and Florence Williams Rollison.

After graduating in 1975 from Governor Livingston High School in New Jersey, William served in the Marine Corps until 1979. William established the Classic Truckman business in 1989; he owned and operated the business since that time. He loved riding motorcycles, trains, his tractor and trailer, and most of all, he loved his customers. William was a member of the Porsche Club, and was fond of racing at Watkins Glen and Mt. Pocono.

He is also survived by a son: Zachary Rollison of Scranton; a brother: Martin Rollison and his wife Susan of Honesdale; and a sister: Susan Smart and her husband Charles of New Jersey. Four nephews, Eric and Alex Rollison, Christopher and Phillip Smart.

He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Vanessa Rollison; two brothers: Robert and Michael Rollison.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 3:30 P.M. at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431, with Rev. Michael Lyle officiating.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 1:00 – 3:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Military Honors will be held at 4:00 P.M.

Following cremation, interment will be in the Darling Cemetery.
