The Callicoon Creek Park Association is pleased to announce the “Under The Moon In Callicoon” concert series for 2011.



The season will start on Friday, July 8th with Basket Landing, a folk music and dance ensemble based in Hankins, New York.

The season will start on Friday, July 8th with Basket Landing, a folk music and dance ensemble based in Hankins, New York.

Award winning MazMyth from Livingston Manor with opening act AventeGorz will be our second offering on Saturday, July 16th.  MazMyth won the Break Contest this spring and played on the main stage at Bamboozle at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.

On Saturday, July 23rd, international Latin jazz recording artist and Narrowsburg resident Chacho Ramirez will bring the Chacho Ramirez Ensemble, AKA Universa Trio with Steve Carlin and Tony DeCiccio, to headline the third concert.  The Latin Jazz Quartet led by Dr. Mambo will perform the opening set.

Closing the series on Saturday, July 30th will be the perennial roots blues favorite Barbecue Bob and the Spareribs.  Series producer Janet Burgan will open the show.  

All concerts will be held in the Callicoon Creek Park, Audley Dorrer Drive in Callicoon, New York.  All performances start at 8PM and a $12 suggested donation will be requested at the door.  Children under 12 will be admitted free.  Bring your lawn chairs, picnic basket and your dancing shoes.
