 The following cases were addressed Thursday, October 22, 2009 by the Honorable Raymond L. Hamill, President Judge, Wayne County. The court results were issued on Tuesday.
• Patrick Francis Lewis, III, age 27 of Gouldsboro was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance, an ungraded misdemeanor.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, perform 50 hours of public service, obtain full time employment upon parole, obtain a GED, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on November 7, 2008, in Dreher Township when Pennsylvania State Police discovered Lewis to be in possession of Marijuana during a traffic stop. 
• Cynthia E. Hubbard, age 22 of Honesdale was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 23 1⁄2 months for one count of Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree and one count of Harassment-Strike, Shove, Kick, graded as a summary offense.  She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, perform 50 hours of community service and pay a fine in the amount of $100.00.  The incident occurred on April 24, 2009, in Texas Township when Hubbard stole several items from a private residence.  
• Christopher Joseph Hambley, age 19 of Hawley was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 18 months for one count of Simple Assault-Physical Menace, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and attend an anger management program.  The incident occurred on June 13, 2009, in Hawley Borough when Hambley punched and kicked a male victim.
• Noel Roman aka Niles Rodriguez, age 21 of Jackson Heights, NY was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for one month to 23 1⁄2 months for one count of Receiving Stolen Property, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, restitution in the amount of $225.00, $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, perform 50 hours of public service and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment.  The incident occurred on June 5, 2006, in Honesdale Borough when Roman knowingly received several pieces of stolen jewelry. 
• William F. Harlos, age 31 of Beach Lake was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for 10 days to six months for one count of DUI, an ungraded misdemeanor.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, a fine in the amount of $500.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, perform 50 hours of community service, attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program, and pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender.  The incident occurred on January 20, 2009, in Hawley Borough when Pennsylvania State Police observed Harlos traveling with tinted windows.  His BAC was .146%.
Probation ordered
• Corie Alexander Spencer, age 19 of Honesdale was placed on probation for a period of 9 months for one count of Retail Theft-Take Merchandise, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, obtain full time employment and perform 75 hours of community service. The incident occurred on February 4, 2009, in Texas Township when Spencer removed several items from a local department store.
