The Honesdale Borough Police Department has obtained an additional arrest warrant for John J. Visci, who is accused of stealing money from an American Legion Post and a veterans center.
An elderly woman was killed in a home fire this morning on Milanville Rd., near Beach Lake. Lucille Dexter, 83, was the lone occupant of the small home nestled in the woods in rural Wayne County. The fire erupted during the early morning hours on Thursday. More information to come.
