Little dogs should stay under the porch, never run with the big dogs.
Reviewed the March Independent’s gas oil, ethanol and water articles.
Water, water everywhere, not a drop left to drink. Can’t do a thing without it. One signature, one fancy contract word could be devastating to Wayne County water tables.
Wayne County is one of the last unspoiled, pristine areas in the Country.
  Which road do the people of Wayne County want to travel? The common sense branch or the fast track highway with the dollar signs floating on the clouds. Here today, gone tomorrow, with devastation destruction left behind.
Land brokers have been calling since May of 2007, dangling carrot contracts for 25 dollars per acre. My understanding was they sold or merged your signed contracts to big companies for mega profits.
Where were our elected officials, then? Township didn’t know the rules when asked, probably was a county or state problem. Everybody in this county knows you need a permit to use your bathroom. How can these corporations waltz into the county, get signed contracts without proper permits?
Now, will elected county officials look further into the ethanol, cruel consumer hoax plant.
Ethanol is corrosive and causes major damage to car engines. It is less efficient than gasoline. Takes 450 pounds of corn and a lot of Wayne County water to produce.
This government pet peeve subsidies ethanol to the tune of $1.05 to $1.38 per gallon. Just another tax on over-burdened tax payers.
Look what it’s done to your food bill, livestock feed-cereal and dairy products, etc.
The government never kept a signed treaty with Native Americans. Why do you think they will keep this one?
By the time a Wayne County Plant is built, there will be so much ethanol out west. Those government subsidies will be gone.
This expensive party will be over.
