To the Editor:
It seems today we hear so much about the bad. Well, I would like to tell you about a “good person.”
July 1st I had my husband walking on the sidewalk in Honesdale. We went a little too far. (He has health problems.) His legs became weak and he fell down on me. After many attempts, I just couldn’t get him up. People went by and looked, and I understand “don’t want to get involved.” Well, this lady came along and wanted to know if I needed help.
She was so kind. She got him up and put him in her car, and took him to our car and got him in our car. Also, she said she had a cell phone to call if necessary. But, after she got him in our car, I came home. I was so sorry, I didn’t get her name. I would like to “thank her” from the bottom of my heart for her kindness, concern, and help that day. Thank you seems so small for all your help, but “thank you” so much.
