George L, Cook, 52, also known as ‘Monster’ passed away suddenly on Friday, February 15 at his residence in Rock Hill, SC. He was a resident of Pleasant Mount for many years, and a former member of the Baers Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club. George liked to travel and work on his Harleys and was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Louise Williams Cook, a former resident of Lake Ariel; a son, Michael L. Cook and his wife Kristen of Honesdale; three grandchildren, Georgina, Madison, and Olivia-Jaide; two stepchildren, Gavin Morcom and Paige Smith; two step-grandchildren Madison Jaide and Kristina Louise Chamberlain, of South Carolina; and one nephew, Geoffrey Broughton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Greta Cook of Pleasant Mount, and his brother, William Broughton of South Carolina.
