Phyllis P. Valenzano, age 90 of Honesdale PA, passed from this earth on Friday, February 15, 2008 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital Honesdale, PA. She was the widow of N.B. Putman who passed away in 1961  and the late Frank J. Valenzano who passed away in 2006.

 Phyllis was born in Bellwood, Pa, September 16, 1917,  the daughter of the late Raymond S. and Mary A. Smithoover Kirk. She was a 60 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Central United Methodist Church, Honesdale. Phyllis was a caregiver for her family. She will be sadly and deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Heather Valenzano of Lake Ariel and Maria Valenzano of Rockaway Beach, Oregon; a nephew, Dr. Darrell Morrow of Sewell, NJ; and a niece, Denise Kirk of Montrose, Pa.

She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Mrs. Raymond Houser; a brother, Raymond Kirk; a sister, Eleanor M. Worrell; and two step-sons, Michael and Mark Valenzano.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa.

 Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
