Slish appointed to Honesdale Council

Honesdale Borough Council voted 4-1, with one abstention, to appoint Nicholas Slish to fill a vacancy on borough council.

Slish's appointment fills a vacancy left by former Borough Council Ed Langerndoerfor, who resigned in August. Council voted unanimously to accept Langendoerfor's resignation Thursday.

The borough council will re-organize at their monthly public meeting on Sept. 13.
