The 91st  GDS Fair begins today, Tuesday, August 26, 2008, and runs through Labor Day Monday September 1. The fairgrounds are located next to and behind the Wallenpaupack South Elementary School in Newfoundland, off Route 191/507.
Come see over 5,000 agricultural exhibits, amusements, rides, demolition derbies and more.
The Midweek Special daily pass costs $5.00 (August 16-August 28). After that, the daily price is $8.00 (special events are excluded). Parking is free, and available across the street.
 Senior citizen’s day is Thursday August 28 (I.D. is required), when anyone age 65 and over will be admitted for only $3.00 (up to 4 p.m.).
