CUTLINE — State Police have asked the public for help in locating John Anthony Saggese, age 17 of Dreher Township, who was last seen Jan. 23, 2012 at his parent's home. Call the State Police (570)253-7126 if you have any information.

DREHER TWP. — State Police from the Honesdale barracks are asking for helplocating a southern Wayne County 17-year-old missing since Jan. 23.

John Anthony Saggese was last seen at his parent’s residence, located on Millcreek Road in Dreher Township on Monday, Jan. 23 at approximately 4 p.m. Saggese is known to frequent the Scranton area and maybe in the area of Diamond Avenue.

Saggese, age 17, was born Dec. 19, 1994. He is a white male, height 5’ 7”, weighing 160 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair.

Anyone having contact with John Anthony Saggese or information about his whereabouts is asked to contact their local police department or PA State Police Honesdale at (570)253-7126.

Trooper John Strelish is the investigating officer.

Theft
State police from the Blooming Grove barracks are seeking information about a brazen theft that occurred in the parking lot of a Route 6 Chinese buffet in Dingman Township.
According to a report by Trooper Robert Malinowski, Port Jervis, N.Y. resident Todd Trotta, 42, had the tailgate of his Toyota Tacoma pickup stolen while he was inside the restaurant eating between 5:30 and 7 p.m. on Jan. 10.

Police are asking anyone with information about this theft to call PSP Blooming Grove at 570-226-5718.
DUI

In Lackawanna County, Trooper Richard Bozym of PSP’s Dunmore barracks reports the detention of Scranton resident Stanley Suda on Jan. 27 for DUI.

According to Bozym’s press release, he and his colleagues had the right lane of Interstate 81 north closed while they investigated an accident when Suda pulled up behind a marked police cruiser with its emergency lights flashing and passed out with his Ford pickup still running and in gear.

Upon police observing other signs of intoxication, Suda was taken to the Lackawanna County DUI Center for further processing.
