Fire claims home at Herrick Center

Pleasant Mount Emergency Services were called out at 5:27 a.m. Saturday to a fully involved structure fire at Herrick Center. Fire Chief Francis Nebzydoski said that the older wood frame house, owned by Richard Beemer, was a total loss. The owner, who the Chief said lived there by himself, was not at home at the time.
