ARD hearing held in Montrose

An ARD hearing was held Tuesday, July 7th in Susquehanna County Court, for Lee C. Krause, concerning his DUI arrest in Honesdale.
The Honorable Judge Kenneth Seamans specially presided in this matter.
Krause, who is 61 and is the solicitor for the County of Wayne, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of six months related to driving under the influence (DUI).
 He was  also ordered to pay all Court costs, perform 40 hours of community service, have his  operator’s license suspended for a period of 60 days, and attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program. 
The incident occurred on April 24, 2009, in Honesdale Borough when Honesdale Borough Police were called to investigate a report of a vehicle stuck near a wooded area.  His BAC was .236%. Krause is from Honesdale and was represented by attorney A.G. Howell.
