The annual Honesdale Independence Day celebration and fireworks will be pushed to Monday due to the possibility of rain showers and cloudy conditions tonight. All event activities including food vendors and music will still take place on Monday at Central Park in the borough beginning at 5:30 p.m., said Gail Tucker, executive director of the Greater Honesdale Partnership. The fireworks will be launched from Irving Cliff at dusk that night.
