Honesdale Borough Council approved a request from the CLEAR 4 TEA Party to hold a rally in Honesdale in April.
The local Tea Party organization, CLEAR 4 TEA Party (Constitutional Liberties Equal American Rights), will host a one year anniversary TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party in Honesdale Park, across from the Wayne County Courthouse.
“We are gathering to voice our concerns on Health Care/Insurance Reform, Cap-N-Trade, new and greater taxes, and a movement toward Socialized Federal Government, among many other things,” Jennifer Fountain, President of the CLEAR 4 TEA Party, stated in a permission request letter to Honesdale Borough Council.
Activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and run until 8 p.m.
