Honesdale Borough Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Robert Scott Shaffer age 20 from Honesdale.
Shaffer is being charged with 20 Felony counts of Statutory Sexual Assault. The warrant was obtained following an investigation that Shaffer had sexual intercourse with a 15 year old female minor also from Honesdale. The contact between Shaffer and the minor began when she was 14 and lasted approximately eight months.
Shaffer is also wanted on two other warrants. A bench warrant issued by the Court of Common Pleas and a warrant stemming from an assault in Honesdale Borough.
