A massive fire Sunday evening left a cottage at Elk Lake, Clinton Township, in ruins. Honesdale Fire Chief Stan Pratt, who took this picture, said the residents were safe. Fire broke out before 8 p.m. and the house was fully involved on arrival of the fire companies. A report from Browndale Fire Department, which was in charge at the scene, is pending.
