Honesdale Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Tuesday October 27th between 4 and 4:30 p.m.
 It was reported to police that a female juvenile was waiting to cross Main Street in front of the Honesdale National bank. While waiting for traffic in the crosswalk, a white vehicle that was parked in front of the Honesdale National Bank, backed out from the parking space and knocked the juvenile to the ground. The white car them pulled out of the parking space and drove away.
