PRESTON TWP. — Josh Bosket, 22, and Edward Russo, 25, both of Deposit, NY, both sustained injuries on Saturday following an accident between their two ATV four-wheelers.
The incident occured when the two took their four-wheelers onto the north travel lane of Route 370, “apparently at a high rate of speed,” according to the police report.
At that high speed, Bosket attempted to make a right turn onto a side road from the left-hand lane, striking Russo and forcing him off the road. Both vehicles flipped and landed on top of their operators. Bosket sustained moderate injuries, while Russo’s were listed as major in the report.
Both were air-lifted to Community Medical Center in Scranton.
Northern Wayne and Honesdale EMS assisted at the scene.
Multiple charges are being filed against both operators.
