Groundbreaking was held recently for phase one of improvements of sewer systems throughout the Hideout development in Lake and Salem townships. Roamingwood Sewer & Water (RS&W) is planning five major infrastructure improvements in 2010, including relocating utilities and replacing two pump stations. Despite a total construction value of about $4 million, Hideout utility rates were not impacted. A low-interest $1.53 million state PENNVEST loan and an attractive line of credit from Wayne Bank were secured. Additional low interest loans and grants are also being sought. State legislators and Wayne Bank were thanked.
