The Honesdale-Bethany Historic House Tour is underway Saturday, June 27, 2009, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A major fund raiser for the Wayne County Public Library, stop first at the library at 14th and North Main Street- itself a historic old- home- for your ticket ($20) and map. Top Hats and Lace Victorian dancers will greet you at each house and volunteer docents will explain to you the history and architectural elements of the fine old homes. There are nine homes on the tour; visit as many as you wish at your own pace.

Here, Top Hats and Lace members Gerry Williams and Janet Grim greet you at the 1811 Kellog/Roosa House, at 403 Wayne Street (Route 670) in Bethany. Ab Rutherford is your guide.
