The Wayne/Pike County Farm Bureau recognized Louise Erk at their annual meeting, Thursday night for her 21 years of “dedicated and loyal service,” filling the roles of: Secretary/Treasurer/Newsletter Processor. Mrs. Erk, wife of the late James Erk, is also a member of the State Farmer Committee. Mrs. Erk was recognized by the offices of State Senator Lisa Baker, State Representative Mike Peifer and Congressman Chris Carney. Paul Meagher, Jr. presents one of the official letters. Meagher, of Meagher Nationwide Insurance Agency, was also recognized. He received the 2008 Nationwide Farm Agency award for an “outstanding job working with the Wayne-Pike County Farm Bureau membership campaign.” In back is State Board Director Dave Williams.
