Giving alcohol to kids brings 30 days

The following defendants were sentenced to Wayne County Prison, Thursday, June 11, 2009. The Honorable Judge Raymond L. Hamill presided in Wayne County Court:
• Kathleen Mehall, age 48 of Prompton was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period from 30 days to 12 months  for two counts of Sell/Furnish Liquor, Malt, Brewed Beverage to Minors, both graded asmisdemeanors of the 3rd degree. 
 The incident occurred on February 1, 2008, in Prompton Borough when Mehall provided alcohol to several minor children.
She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, a fine  in the amount of $2,000.00, $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, perform 20 hours of community service and obtain full time employment upon parole.
• Thomas Edmund Charette, age 21 of White Mills was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period from eight days to 23 1⁄2 months for one count of Simple Assault, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree and one count of Disorderly Conduct-Engage in Fighting, graded as a misdemeanor of the 3rd degree. 
The incident occurred on September 16, 2008, in Texas Township when Charette held a female victim on the ground while a co-defendant struck the victim with her fists.
He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, a fine in the amount of $300.00, pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, restitution in the amount of $2,070.00, attend and complete an anger management course and have no contact with the victim in this case.
• Andrew John Gaudenzi, age 22 of Waymart was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period from 72 hours to six months, followed by 12 months of probation, for one count of DUI or Controlled Substance, an ungraded misdemeanor, one count of Resisting Arrest or Other Law Enforcement, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree and one count of Disorderly Conduct-Hazardous/Physically Offensive, graded as a misdemeanor of the 3rd degree.
 The incident occurred on January 6, 2009, in Waymart Borough when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one vehicle crash.  Gaudenzi refused to submit to the drawing of a blood sample for chemical testing. 
He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, a fine in the amount of $1,000.00,   attend and complete an anger management course, perform 50 hours of community service, attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment.
• Jonathan Arnone, age 29 of Lake Ariel was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period from 48 hours to six months  for one count of DUI, an ungraded misdemeanor, one count of Possess Small Amount-Marijuana, an ungraded misdemeanor and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, also an ungraded misdemeanor.
The incident occurred on October 12, 2008, in Canaan Township when Pennsylvania State Police observed Arnone driving in an erratic manner. At that time Arnone was discovered to be in possession of Marijuana and a glass pipe.  His BAC was  .147%. 
 He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, a fine in the amount of $1,500.00, perform 50 hours of community service, and attend and complete an alcohol highway safety program.
