A burglary in Lackawaxen Township is under investigation by State Police at Blooming Grove.
According to the police report, the perpetrator(s) arrived at the Deep Run Road home, and gained access by smashing a small, triangular piece of glass in the front entrance. Once inside, they rummaged through drawers and closets on both floors of the home before stealing a 12-pack of beer, located on the kitchen floor.
They then proceeded to the back of an adjacent garage, smashed the glass window and leaned in to remove four, full-face ATV helmets from a shelf, before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident occurred sometime between noon on January 22 and 6 p.m. January 25.

Tow chains stolen
Tow chains were stolen from the back of two, tow trucks in Lackawaxen Township, sometime between 5:30 p.m. January 25 and 6:30 p.m. January 26.
The victim is All Tune and Lube on Route 6.  Half a dozen chains were taken from the back of the trucks, parked on the lot.
