A one-car fatality in Delaware Township, Pike County is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police at Blooming Grove.
The driver, name not released pending notification of family, was traveling south on Milford Road Wednesday night, around 11:30 p.m. when their 1999 Kia Sephia crossed into the opposite lane of travel, left the roadway and struck a tree with it’s front end.
According to Trooper John Youngblood’s report, the vehicle became engulfed in flames, causing extensive damage to the engine and occupant compartments.
There were no passengers.
