The Pennsylvania State Police Troop R headquarters in Dunmore reports the arrest of a Factoryville man for Aggravated Indecent Assault against a girl, 4.
Stemming from an incident that occurred July 13, James Bagg, 67 of the Tall Timbers Trailer Park in Lackawanna County’s LaPlume Township, was arrested Thursday for bringing the child into his residence to show her his pets. Once inside, the arresting officer reports Bagg proceeded to fondle the girl’s genital area.
Prior to service of the arrest warrant, Bagg was interviewed about the incident and confessed to the crime.
Bagg was arraigned Thursday in District Court and remanded to the Lackawanna County Prison after failing to post $50,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is set for August 17 in Lackawanna County Central Court.
The Blooming Grove PSP barracks reports that unknown actors broke into Lords Valley Towing on Route 739 in Blooming Grove in the early morning hours of August 10 and stole two welding cables.
The two heavy gauge copper cables are 20 and 50 feet long, sheathed in black casings. They are worth approximately $2,500.
The Honesdale PSP barracks reports that sometime between 11 p.m. the night of August 8 and 6 a.m. the following morning, an unknown thief stole a light blue 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a brown fender from outside the home of its owner at 26 Young Brave Trail in the Indian Country development, Lehigh Township.
The car bears a PA registration — HJE-0304.
