The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating a theft of a purse that occurred at the Salvation Army store on Willow Avenue sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on August 26.
According to police, the victim had a black purse in her shopping cart, when an unknown subject took it. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Honesdale Borough Police at 253-1900.
