A 24-year-old Lake Ariel man is facing multiple burglary and theft-related charges involving a three-county area. Randall Alan Conti Jr. is charged with four counts of burglary, nine counts of theft and related charges. He’s currently incarcerated in Lackawanna County Jail, stemming from his arrest in June, involving the burglary of Rise Construction Complex in Jefferson Township. New charges, filed this week, include additional burglary charges a the same location.
Property stolen includes various power tools and large amounts of copper. Additional locations include Salem Township in Wayne County, Herrick and Clifford Townships in Susquehanna County, and Madison and Jefferson Townships in Lackawanna County. The crimes were committed between August, 2007 and June 2008.
Conti was arraigned on the charges Friday and returned to the Lackawanna County Jail pending further court action. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, October 17 in Lackawanna County Central Court.
