Fire linked to computer area

 Pa. State Police, Fire Marshal Unit, reports that a blaze at a Carbondale home this week was accidental and linked to an electrical malfunction near the desk top computer.
The fire occurred at the home of Donna Potis, 126-42nd Street, Wednesday at 6 p.m. It stared at the rear of the first floor and caused substantial damage to the structure and contents.
The determination of the Fire Marshal Unit was made on Thursday.
Rock thrown
An incident of criminal mischief was reported in the Tink Wig development in Lackawaxen Township, Wednesday.
Pa. State Police, Blooming Grove, was informed that an unknown person threw a rock at a window located in the rear of a home at 434 Timber Ridge Drive. The outer pane of glass shattered, said Trooper Peter Nemshick. Anyone with information is asked to call the Blooming Grove station at 226-5718.
