Pa. State Police investigated vandalism reported at the Home Depot outer parking lot in Texas Township. The criminal mischief occurred sometime on April 18 or 19.
Trooper Brian Rickard said that an unknown person, or more than one, vandalized four display sheds by smashing windows, spraying a fire extinguisher and spray-painting graffiti on them.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police at Honesdale at 253-7126.
Cigarette infraction
On April 21, the Pa. State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported an alleged violation at Sonny’s Bar & Grill, Inc., 505 Main St., Honesdale. The business was cited for selling cigarettes without the required permit.
Water balloon trouble
Pa. State Police at Blooming Grove said that a Flushing, NY man, age 22, is facing a summary charge of disorderly conduct, regarding a water balloon. The man is accused of throwing the balloon at a vehicle owned by a woman from Canadensis. This caused water to spray on the vehicle. The crime occurred along SR 447 at The Panther Lodge in Greene Township.
