On April 12, 2008 Honesdale Police stopped a Ford Escort on Willow Avenue after it was observed being driven in an erratic manner. The vehicle was found to be operated by David Rosksoki, 53, of the Honesdale area.
Officers determined that Rosksoki had been drinking, and as a result he was arrested for DUI, after failing field sobriety tests. Rosksoki submitted to a blood test at Wayne Memorial Hospital for the purpose of determining his BAC.
On April 18 the test results were received and indicated Rosksoki’s BAC was .20%, more than twice the legal limit. Charges of DUI and related traffic offenses were filed at the office of Magistrate Snyder.
