The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce today issued a warning today regarding advertising sales for a map project.
According to the press release, Hometown Productions (aka Universal AdCom) is currently planning sales calls in Wayne County to sell advertising on a Wayne County relocation map.
The chamber warns that the map is not a chamber project, nor is it endorsed by the chamber.

Please be aware that the Wayne County Relocation map currently being promoted to potential advertisers is not endorsed or supported by this Chamber. Hometown Productions is currently preparing to canvas the County to sell ads for their new map. They also use the name Universal AdCom.
The only map that is endorsed by the Wayne County Chamber of Comerce is through Universal Advertising Associates, Inc.
Please advise the Chamber office if you are approached for an ad on the map and the salesperson indicates Wayne County Chamber endorsement. If a saleperson tries to sell you advertising claiming to be endorsed by the Chamber, please verify with us first. We always contact our members via email, newsletter, etc. when we are endorsing a project.
