The Wayne County Public Library hosts its 11th annual “In Good Taste” wine tasting event on Friday, April 27, from 6:30 to 9 pm. The Friends of the Wayne County Public Library spend many hours preparing for and then transforming the Wayne County Ford showroom in Honesdale into a gorgeous venue for this signature fundraising event. The great folks at Wayne County Ford donate the space for this event and are incredibly supportive of the chaos in their workspace for the day. This is the library's major fundraiser for the year.

“In Good Taste” pairs six wines – three red and three white – with specially formulated appetizers created by six local restaurants just for the occasion. Providing this year's delectable pairings are: Alpine Wurst and Meat House, Bongo Roadhouse, Camp Umpy's Bagel's &Stuff, The Dock at Wallenpaupack, Fiesta on Main, and The Mustard Seed Cafe.

The Hotel Wayne will offer a scrumptious buffet to keep the wine tasters happy in between tastes.

The evening also includes a silent auction featuring a wide variety of artwork, experiences and more. The items are featured on the WCPL Facebook page and are displayed at the library, where over 200 patrons pass through each day. Enormous thanks go out to this year's Silent Auction Sponsors: Nature's Grace, Woodloch Pines Resort, Alley Whey Eatery, Ambeez Toy Box, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Black & Brass, Cavage's Country Farm Market, Comfort Inn-Pocono Lakes Region, Lander's River Trips, Mitzi Kielar, LaBar Family, Highlights & Sandra Mayer, Lake Region IGA, Mountain Quilt Works, Paulie's Hot Dog's LLC, Warehouse 51 Laser Tag, Waymart Hotel Restaurant & Saloon, Platform Industries, Reaper's Revenge, Honesdale Golf Club, Superlative Interiors, Inc & Cynthia Hanson, Corrine Main, Lukan's Farm Resort, Flipped, Waterpure Bath & Body Products & Mary Fritz, Kristina Peary of Honesdale Massage Therapy, Honesdale Greenhouse, Ski Big Bear, Costa's Family Fun Park, Sylvania Tree Farm & Jane McKay, Anthill Farm Kitchen, AAA North Pen, The Velvet Maple, and the Stourbridge Line.
