Plans have been finalized for the Wayne County Democratic Committee’s Annual Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner. The dinner starts at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 13th at the Central House in Beach Lake.

Wayne County Democratic Chairman, Mark Graziadio, has received confirmation that U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright will attend and has accepted the invitation to attend as the keynote speaker. Other confirmed attendees include John Fetterman, the Mayor of Braddock, PA, and a candidate for Lieutenant Governor; Rebecca Kinney of Susquehanna County, candidate for PA State Representative in the 111th District (Northern Wayne and Eastern Susquehanna Counties) and Orlando Marrero, a Hawley Businessman and candidate for PA State Representative in the 139th District (Southern Wayne County and Pike County).

Invitations have also been extended to statewide Democratic candidates, including United States Senator Robert Casey and Governor Tom Wolf, as well as other candidates for Lt. Governor.

Chairman Mark Graziadio commented, “We are very pleased to welcome Congressman Cartwright, Mayor Fetterman and the PA State Representative Candidates. The Congressman lives in Scranton and has represented the former 17th Congressional District since 2013.

"The recently revised Pennsylvania Congressional Districts map re-arranged the congressional districts, moving Wayne County from the PA-10th Congressional District to the newly drawn 8th Congressional District. The redrawn map also re-aligned a major portion of Congressman Cartwright’s former 17th District to the 8th and we now welcome him as our Member of Congress.”

The evening will include a Cocktail Hour and Dinner and a Silent Auction featuring many special items.

Tickets for the evening are $35.00 per person and reservations can be made by calling Christina at 570-488-5704 or Mark at 570-647-4747 or by Email to mgraziadio@aol.com.
