HONESDALE--A Holiday Victorian Tea will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in St. James House, The Rectory of Grace Episcopal Church.
The event is for adults or kids 10 and older accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required and are due by Dec. 2, if possible.
The home will be beautifully decorated for the holidays and there will be a bounty of teas, sweet treats, and more!
The suggested donation is $20, which includes a bonus $5 in basket raffle tickets. Other raffles, dolls, and some holiday items will be available.
Proceeds from the event help with costs of renovation and activities at St. James House.
St. James House at 210 9th St. is an 1875 stone mansion, which once again is serving as the home of the Grace Church rector and his family.
The lower level of the beautiful home is being used for parish entertaining and events and some nonprofit community events.
