May 17, 2008 was the wedding date for Evelyn Batzel of Honesdale, and Thomas Lippert, of Honesdale. They were wed at the Honesdale Golf Club, officiated by Mayor Ann Morgan.
The bride was given in marriage by her children, David, Matt and Brett Batzel. Sheila Warring of Honesdale was maid of Honor. Sue Spencer of Bethany served as Bridesmaid.
Roger Kittner of Honesdale was Best Man. The groom’s son, Thomas Lippert, served as Usher.
Following the reception at the Honesdale Golf Club, the newlyweds went on a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Canada.
The bride and groom are both employed full time in Honesdale, Pa. They make their home in Cherry Ridge.
