Haiti ministry update
HAWLEY– Mona Louis Juste, of Haiti, will be ministering at New Covenant Fellowship Church, Columbus Ave., Hawley, this Sunday August 23 in the 10:30 a.m. service. She and her sister will bring an update on the ministry in Haiti which her husband, the late Rev. Nicolas Juste started. They will also share in song and the Word of God. All are welcome. The church is diagonally behind the Hawley Post Office which is on Route 6.
Flowers inspire art show
HONESDALE – The next art exhibit at Re-Max Wayne, 416 Main St., Honesdale, will feature the work of Lucille Norella entitled, “Flowers of Infinite Beauty.” The show will run from September 2 through September 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Lucille states that her love of flowers is her profound source of inspiration.
TEA Party rally planned

Kizer Cemetery meeting set
JEFEFRSON TWP.– The annual meeting of the Kizer Cemetery Association will be held on Saturday, August 29,2009 at 1 p.m. on the grounds of the cemetery. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be held at 124 Brundage Drive, Jefferson Township.

Full Gospel banquet scheduled
HONESDALE – There will be a banquet of the Full Gospel Businessmen, Pocono Mountain Chapter, on Saturday, August 22 at 6 p.m., at Cordaro's Restaurant, Route 6 Grandview Avenue, Honesdale, Pa.
The guest speaker, Dale Robbins of Hancock, will share his testimony of how putting faith in God rescued and benefited his life, including help concerning problems he had with alcohol and marital issues.
