‘Corporate personhood’ discussed
HONESDALE – The recent Supreme Court decision in the Citizens United v. FEC case has finally brought the issue of “corporate personhood” to the front of the public consciousness – but this issue has actually been problematic for quite some time.
As part of its ongoing concern with threats to American democracy, Waynepeace will sponsor a discussion of ”Corporate Personhood and Corporate Power” at the Wayne County Public Library, 1106 Main St., Honesdale, on Tuesday, February 2nd, at 5 p.m.  Waynepeace co-founder Skip Mendler will facilitate the discussion.  All are welcome to attend, and refreshments will be served.
