VBS planned at St. Vincent’s
HONESDALE - St. John's Vacation Bible School is scheduled July 8th- July 11th, 9 to 11:30 a.m. daily, at St. Vincent's School.
The theme is “God's BIG Backyard... Where kids have a blast serving Jesus!”
Children ages kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to attend.   Come explore Bible stories with the Backyard Bible Club.  Learn songs at the Backyard Bash. ‘Amazon Expedition VBS’ starts 7-14
HONESDALE - Pastor D. Paul Williamson of Honesdale Gospel Tabernacle, 455 Grove St., Honesdale, has announced that their summer Vacation Bible School program is being held Monday, July 14th through Friday, July 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
“Your children and grandchildren will not want to miss this program developed by Answers in Genesis” said Pastor Williamson.
This summer the children will go on an expedition to learn about the 7 C's of History, while teaching them that the Bible is the true history book of the universe. From dinosaurs to Noah's flood, they will participate in singing, games, activities, crafts, Bible lessons and so much more.

Bethany Presbyterian hosts VBS
BETHANY- The Bethany Presbyterian Church will be holding Vacation Bible School for children ages three years old to and including 5th grade. This year’s theme will be “Son Harvest County Fair!” The dates will be from Sunday, July 20 through Thursday, July 24, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. nightly.
Games, crafts, food, singing and “fun till the cows come home” are planned, say organizers. Live animals  are  planned. “Come and bring a friend, learn about God’s love for you,” VBS officials said.
The church is located on route 670, three miles north of Honesdale, on the left side coming from that direction. There is no charge. To pre-register, call (570)253-6316 on Sunday evening at the church.

VBS planned at Damascus
DAMASCUS- The Damascus United Methodist  Charge at Damascus Manor and Abrahamsville  invites all children to ride the wave of God's love at their summer  Vacation Bible School (VBS), titled  "Beach Party: Surfin' Through the  Scriptures.”
The fun begins on July 20 with a water filled fun night with the  Equinunk Fire Department on the lawn of the parsonage complete with an ice cream  treat. It continues Monday through Friday  July 21-25 every night at 5 p.m.  with a light picnic supper followed by stories, crafts, songs, snack, and  games.
 According to church officials, this program is a celebration of God's love and a chance for children  to learn new “Beach Be-Attitudes”. Each lesson will be supported by all the things to do at VBS.
 The closing program will be held on July 27 at  Damascus Manor at 10:30 a.m.

VBS planned in Hawley
HAWLEY -”Outrigger Island: Living God’s Unshakable Truth” is the theme for Vacation Bible School at New Covenant Fellowship Church, Hawley. Children ages 5- 13 are invited, July 28 through August 1, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. nightly. Bible stories, crafts, songs and dancing to “awesome” music, mission adventures and snacks are included. Hawley Lutheran sets VBS
HAWLEY -St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 405 Church St., Hawley, has scheduled Vacation Bible School, Monday August 4 through Friday August 8. The time is 9 a.m.- 12 noon. Children in preschool, on up are welcome. “Gods’ Big Backyard” is the theme. Call Tara Klepadlo at 226-3026 for more information.

Hawley UM Church hosts VBS
HAWLEY- “The Pirates Who Don’t do Anything” is the “Veggie Tale” theme for Vacation Bible School at Hawley United Methodist Church, August 4-12. Come to VBS at Narrowsburg
NARROWSBURG, NY- “And God Made Me! – Caring for God’s Creation” is the theme for Vacation Bible School at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Narrowsburg, NY.  From August 11-15, 9 a.m.-12 noon, children ages 4 through 11 (entering 6th grade) will have fun learning Bible stories, songs, and crafting artwork emphasizing the beauty of creation and our responsibility to care for our planet, said organizers.  Parents may register their children by calling Pastor Phyllis Haynes at 845-252-3919, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 noon.  The registration cost is $5.00 per child.
