The Sullivan County Historical Society will honor Sullivan County veterans on Oct. 17.
The event will be held at 4 p.m. at the Rockland House, Roscoe, N.Y. The cost is $30 per person.

The Autumn Marvels Collection at The Hanson Gallery

Jump into Autumn Marvels at The Hanson Gallery. This new collection of colorful eclectic art is available for viewing and purchase from October through mid- November.

AARP, Honesdale Chapter, will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at Maple City Aprtments, 3 Corey St., Honesdale.

A rummage sale will be held on Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and bag sale from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale will be held at Camp Indian Head, Hill House, Hancock Highway in Equinunk, about 20 miles north of Honesdale and 15 miles south of Hancock, N.Y.
The rummage sale benefits the Union Methodist Church.
Friends of the Carbondale Library will hold a book/bake sale on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be books for all. Stock up now. There will also be homemade baked goods by some of the best bakers around.
A movie at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main St., Hurleyville, N.Y., will be presented by the Sullivan County Historical Society, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27.
